Upon registration payment must be made in full unless otherwise arranged with Engineering Optimism Dog Training, L.L.C.

 

Refund Policy:

Our focus is client satisfaction. Please be advised when purchasing training packages, individual training services, or group classes that refunds are granted on a very limited basis.

 

Pre-paid sessions and training packages expire after the time period listed on the booking page. If there is not time period listed on the booking page, sessions and training packages expire after 6 months.

 

Cancellation Policy:

24 hours notice prior to appointment is required for all cancellations and rescheduling or your session is forfeited. I understand that I will be charged a last-minute cancellation fee of $25 for canceling or rescheduling an appointment within 24 hours of the appointment time.

You may reschedule up to 2 times otherwise you forfeit the session.

We do understand that emergencies occur, and at times an appointment may need to be cancelled or rescheduled.

 

Should an emergency arise, we request that a minimum of 24 hours’ notice be given.

In the event that 24 hours’ notice is not given, the following applies:

1. The first cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice is noted, but not penalized.

2. Future cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged accordingly. If your pet has a package of sessions, one session will be marked as used. If your pet is not on a package, you will be charged for the single session that was missed.
    

The only time we will waive this fee is in the event of serious or contagious illness, extreme weather or other unavoidable circumstance. If you are unsure, please contact mallory@engineeringoptimismdogtraining.com for further guidance.

As a courtesy, you can opt to have a text sent to remind you of your service prior to your appointment at the time of booking. However, if we are unable to reach you, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals and missed appointments.

Punctuality:

In assuring you have an efficient and wonderful training experience with Engineering Optimism Dog Training, L.L.C.  please login to your zoom session at or before your scheduled appointment time. Late arrivals will be rescheduled after 15 minutes with a $15 fee and a forfeit of that session. If you no-show an appointment, you will forfeit that session with a $15 fee.

Client's Rights

The client has the right to refuse any part of the functional assessment, training and/or behavior change program including any training exercises they feel are inappropriate. It is recommended that client openly communicates with Engineering Optimism Dog Training, L.L.C. and the behavior change or training program may be adjusted to reflect the client’s wishes. The client has the right to ask further questions and be clear on all relevant details before consenting to the consulting relationship.

Bite History

If your dog has a bite history, please contact us if you have any questions. You must disclose this at time of registration. Failure to disclose aggression or a bite history is your liability for any injuries incurred by the dog.

Engineering Optimism Dog Training expects all relationships between clients and trainers/consultants to be free from prejudice and harassment. Failing to abide by this policy can result in the termination of our professional relationship.
